Cody Baker Is Growing Up….Fast! In 2004 Cody advanced to the Restrictor class where he finished 3rd in the point standings and was voted Most Improved Restrictor Class Driver. Cody again finished 3rd in the points in 2005 and finished in the top ten nationally both years. In 2006 Cody finished 2nd in the Point Standings and received the Sportsmanship Award. Competing in races all over the Midwest including In 2006, 13 year old Cody also graduated to full size 305 Sprint Cars. Competing against drivers 16-60 he won in just his third feature start at
2007 Cody finished 2nd in the Non-Wing Class point standings and 4th in the A-Stock Class winning Rookie of the Year honors for that class. Competing the Micro-Sprint at I-70 Speedway in October, he won the Multi-Class feature and finished 2nd in the Non-Wing Class feature.

He continued to race his 305 Sprint at
2008 Cody made his 360 debut at Lake Ozark Speedway. He also won 2 non-wing features at I-70 speedway. 2009 proved to be an exciting year. Cody competed in multiple 360 and 305 events around the region. He won the 360 Sprint car track championship at Lake Ozark Speedway, making him the youngest sprint car driver to earn this honor. He also was listed as the 10 place Sprint Car Driver in the State of Missouri and finished 5th in the Valley Speedway point standings despite multiple motor failures.
2010 Cody will continue to run Dave Long's 360 at Lake Ozark speedway along with select WOW and other 360 events in Grandpa, Ted Hall's 360 sprint car. He will also appear in the 305 winged and nonwing races at Grain Valley, Missouri along with his sister; Casey Baker.
